Our Curriculum

Our preschool curriculum provides developmentally-appropriate learning opportunities to encourage your child to be confident, successful, life-long learners. The early years are critical to your child’s positive growth and development and they are eager to learn new skills, experience challenging opportunities, and be encouraged for their strengths and talents.

We ensure every child is receiving the creative learning experiences they require and that they are developing physically, intellectually, and socially. Our activities, games, and curriculum are all formulated to engage and your child’s natural curiosity and provide a foundation for long term success. Preparing your child to succeed in school and beyond is the core of our child care curriculum.

The following is our daily schedule that is tailored so that we me apply the necessary tasks and routines that allow each child, or each developmental stage to achieve the very best of care while encouraging a healthy development.

Daily Schedule

Here's what your child can expect to do during a normal day at our center

ARRIVAL
7:00am – 8:00am
Daycare Open/ Drop off time by parents, children greet their friends, and take coats/shoes off and prepare for breakfast.

BREAKFAST
8:00am – 8:30am
Nutritious meals served to children that arrive early in the morning

BREAKFAST CLEAN-UP
8:30am – 9:00am
Children are encouraged to clean up after themselves, use the bathroom while younger children are allowed to do free play in the meantime and/or have their diapers changed.

Circle Time
9:00am – 9:15am
Good Morning songs, theme song, month song, season song, days of the week song, alphabet song, and color song.

Center Free Play
9:15am – 10:00am
Children can choose from dress up, dramatic play, toy cars, dolls, animals, puzzles, blocks and much more

Outdoors Free Play Time
10:00am – 10:45am
Children are given time outside to run, jump, hop and skip their hearts content. Younger children are given exciting stroller/buggy rides.

SNACK TIME
10:45am – 11:00am
Notorious and fun treats are served as a snack, younger children eat the snacks provided by their parents.

ART TIME
11:00am – 11:45am
Children participate in projects that are based on the monthly theme.

Clean up & Wash Hands
11:45am – 12:00pm
Children given the opportunity to clean up and wash hands to prepare for lunch. Children are also given the opportunity to use the bathroom and younger children get diaper changes.

Lunch Time
12:00pm – 12:30pm
Nutritious meals provided by parents served to the children for lunch

ACTIVE STORY TIME
12:30PM – 12:45PM
Children are given the opportunity to listen, repeat or act out the story being read.

Nap Time
12:45pm – 2:45pm
Children are given the opportunity to rest quietly while quiet soothing music played to help them sleep. Older children may look at books quietly during this time.

SNACK TIME
2:45pm – 3:00pm
Notorious and fun treats are served as a snack, younger children eat the snacks provided by their parents.

Music & Dancing
3:00pm – 3:45pm
Children are given instruments or listen to music they can sing and dance to.

Indoor Free Play & StaggeredDeparture
3:45pm – 6:00pm
Children are allowed to play in various center play areas while they wait for their parents to arrive.

*These activities are based on weather and may change to meet the needs of the children in our care. Activities are based on a monthly theme and is age appropriate, so each time slot may change depending on age group.
